School Open - Weather Update

Hillsborough County Public Schools Parents and Families,
We are currently monitoring the approaching tropical weather system that is expected to impact the Gulf Coast this week.
According to the National Hurricane Center, what is now Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine is expected to develop and intensify into a named storm within the next 24 hours. District leaders are staying in constant communication with local emergency management teams and weather experts.
At this time, all schools remain open and on regular schedules. However, we are prepared to act quickly if the situation changes. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority.
We encourage all families to review their emergency plans and stay prepared. We will provide another update as soon as more information becomes available.
